Happy New Year!

So another new year is upon us - and like all the others that have passed us by, we sit and make lists, promises and resolutions. I'm pretty sure one of the most popular resoutions that is made is "I'll never drink again" most people make this statement as they are kneeling over the toilet probably throwing up for the third or fourth time - gotta love the dry heaves! I try not to make to many of these promises or resolutins because we all have learned we usually don't keep to them. But here is a list of things I would like to see happen in 2009.
1. No more slam dunks as highlight of the night on ANY sports show. Really? A nine foot man places a ball through a hoop that is slightly higher up than he is big whoop.
2. No more Rod Black aka the William Shatner of Canadian sports broadcasting. Give me more Jay Onrait anyday.
3. No more elections. USA, Canadian federal, Quebec - enough already.
4. A Stanley Cup parade in Montreal without any riots!
5. Good things happening to good people.
6. Lots of laughter, for my family, friends and fans I will do my part to bring them
So heres to a healthy, prosperous new year filled with laughter
