More Random Thoughts - not all Funny

So once again I have neglected my duties to "blog", but I seem to be suffering from "blogger's block". Don't know why, maybe it's because I'm busy (that's a good thing) or maybe because I'm so distracted by my beloved Habs and the fact that yesterday was trade deadline day and the only move they made was getting career a career backup goalie by the name of Leighton. Isn't he the leader of the NDP - well no one can say the Habs aren't enviromentally friendly, we are recycling other people's junk. Headline should read "Blue Blanc Rouge go Green!" Save the planet, lose the Cup - that's my mantra for the day. But I digress.
As some of you know, I went through some tough personal times not too long ago, but since then I have bounced back and have never felt better. I started working on my first golf tournament go to www.joeyeliasgolf.com for all the info. I honestly believe if you surround yourself with good, positive people it will rub off on you. My committee of ten are the most incredible, hard working and dedicated people ever. They all have jobs, families and other responsabilities yet they are dedicated to making this tournament a success. I am a better person for being around them. The same goes for if you hang around bad, manipulative people you too will be become one of them. You are a bi-product of the company you keep and remeber what goes around comes around. Like Mr. Lennon said "Instant karma it's gonna get ya'". So thank you KD,EJ,DP,PS,MA,RZ,DV,NB,LR and AC you make me better.
Also just had another amazing weekend in our nation's capital headlining the club there. Got to work with 2 very funny and cool people Jason Harper and Paul Sveen, if you get a chance to see these guys check them out, you will not be disappointed.
I just want to let everyone know that if by March 16 the weather isn't nice and the temp. isn't above freezing the groundhog - he gets it! Soprano's style. Serious, nothing worse than a lying rodent.
Other changes in my life - oatmeal. Thought I only liked it in cookie form, turns out it ain't bad. If someone had told me that I can lose weight (100+lbs) feel better than I ever have and find foods that I never ate and will enjoy them, I would have done this years ago. For anyone trying to shed the extra weight, email me if you need some extra motivation, believe me if I could do it anyone can!
This just in - Habs acquire Ed Broadbent to be their next big D-man! (kidding realized I may have dated myself with that last reference)
So there it is for now, letting you all know I feel good, hanging with good people and hope I'm around when 'bad' people get there's - it's got to be fun to watch - beats watching TV!
