Random Thoughts

So it has been raining here in Montreal for what seems like forever. I read about this global warming and other changes happening to the planet, and here is my theory. Eventually the seasons will be reversed - we will have summer in December and winter in July. I'm no Asimov or Galileo but you heard it here first.
Other thoughts.
There is a movement here in the city to ban drivers from using cell phones while driving. I am all for it, but it makes me wonder what will cabbies do if that law comes into effect? Maybe they can start by learning the city streets!
Why is moving day in Quebec July 1 - better known as Canada Day. The only fireworks we see are from people when they see their bill from the moving company that charged them time and a half because it is a Federal holiday.
Why are snooker and ping pong and spelling bees being televised. I thought soccer was slow but really now! How do you look at potential sponsors with a straight face and convince them that their target audience is someone that watches fly fishing on TV?
Best new CD over the last 6 months - Sam Roberts "Chemical City". Awesome, pick it up or if you have a copy already tell your friends to get it.
And finally I realized not too long ago that God has a sense of humor. See if you are diabetic one of the signs is wounds don't heal as fast. So in order to maintain the diesease you have to prick yourself everyday - so essentially you are giving yourself a wound everyday. Also diabetics may lose their eyesight - carrots help eyesight. Except carrots are very high in sugar content making them bad for diabetics - Oh Lord you're such a kidder.
