One Hell of a Night!

So the craziness of the Just For Laughs Festival ends, and I think will shows in the following weeks be as good, will the audiences come out to the clubs like they did during those 10 days in July. The answer is yes and yes. Wednesday the 27th of July was simply magical. At Bourbon Street West, which is so much fun to work at on a regular night, we get treated so well be Steve Traynor and his entire staff (www.bourbonstreetwest.com), there was a fundraiser for the Leonard Malizia Foundation. (see leonardmalizia.org for all the details). What a night. The crowd was energetic and attentive the show was in my opinion the best anyone will see in a long time. I hosted, Phil Shuchat opened and rocked the house. Scott Faulconbridge, hot off a Gala performance among other shows during the JFL Festival, comes out and kills (thats good in the comedy world) And when you think who can take it to the next level, headliner GREG MORTON, kept the audience going finishing with a musical and memorable tribute to the eighties. Standing ovation. Greg is one of the most talented and nicest men you will ever meet, if he comes to your city go see him. Make the effort to get out he's worth the price of the ticket. Kudos, to the family and friends that organised a wonderful night to remember the memory of Leonard. When you raise money for a good cause, the show goes well, and everyone has a good time the crowd and the performers - that my friends is one hell of a night!!!!
